Souper Bowl 2007 Champions

On February 3 and 4 the children at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Barton, OH, participated in the 'Souper Bowl of Caring' weekend. On Saturday afternoon they gathered to learn about the work of International Orthodox Christian Charities in the world, and assembled 31 health kits to send to needy people throughout the world. The children then attended Vespers, and helped sing the responses. On Sunday morning they held soup pots at the door of the church and collected over $200 in donations from parishioners for the work of IOCC, along with food for a local food pantry.
