Axios!, a Greek word meaning a truly worthy and deserving person, describes young people around the world who need our help.
Orthodox Christian Fellowship, a campus ministry of the Orthodox Church, is partnering with International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC), a humanitarian aid agency serving youth and families in 33 countries, to provide emergency aid and development assistance.
Your support for youth in need through Project AXIOS! can:
Provide basic computer training and classroom support for teachers and students giving them skills that can help them succeed.
Support educational programs to teach young people how to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Repair or build new schools, libraries, playgrounds and other facilities for youth.
Bring urgently-needed supplies, including blankets, personal hygiene kits, school books and classroom materials, to youth affected by disasters or living in poverty.
