IOCC believes the most effective and efficient way to address global disasters and poverty is by collaborating with Orthodox Christian and ecumenical partners, as well as with private, public, and civil society organizations.

Guided by its mission, IOCC works in support of the social service capacity of the Orthodox Church worldwide and promotes collaboration between Orthodox Christian social service agencies worldwide.

IOCC is a member of InterAction, a coalition of US-based nongovernmental organizations that carry out humanitarian assistance programs overseas.
