The mission of IOCC is to, in the spirit of Christ’s love, offer emergency relief and development programs to those in need worldwide, without discrimination, and to  strengthen the capacity of the Orthodox Church to so respond.

IOCC Financial Statements and Tax Information

IOCC is a 501(c)(3) organization eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. About Your Privacy

IOCC values your support and is committed to protecting your privacy. Our site is a safe environment for anyone who visits or makes a donation. IOCC provides the following information to demonstrate our organization’s commitment to your privacy. As a rule, IOCC does not share, rent, trade, or sell personal information collected on this site or through other means. IOCC is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on our website.

When you visit our site, we collect some nonidentifying basic information. This includes total number of website visitors, pages viewed, and other nonidentifying information. We use this aggregate information to improve our site and to make your experience on our website as smooth as possible. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from a child without the consent of the child’s parent(s).

When you make a donation online, we ask for basic information to process your donations and to verify credit card data. We use your mailing address to send your tax-deductible receipts and to keep you informed about what we are doing in different parts of the world through our publications and appeals.

This site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Any forms submitted online that contain personal financial information are submitted via a secure server using encryption technology. Credit card information and other personal information will not be released by IOCC to any other party, except when required by law.

The data housed at IOCC is protected by extensive network security with very limited access by select personnel charged with protecting the privacy of your records.

IOCC uses a third-party Facebook application for fundraising and donation collection. This application is integrated into our Luminate Online (a product of Blackbaud) platforms via Facebook and is used only for donation purposes. The data collection practices of this app, and detailed instructions on how to delete your user data from the platform via Facebook, can be found on this page in the section titled “Facebook Fundraising.”

Mailing Lists

IOCC does not share, rent, trade, or sell its mailing lists to other parties. Those who no longer wish to receive email or postal mail communications from IOCC can have their information removed from our mailing lists by contacting IOCC at the above-listed contact information.

Facebook Fundraising

IOCC uses a Facebook application for our fundraising efforts, and users’ control of their data privacy is important to us. If you would like to request that your data be deleted, you can do so by going to your Facebook profile and clicking the “Send Request” button on the Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites page. You can then choose to delete that shared data from that page.
