IOCC Training Programs Equip Women and Young Adults for Success
After more than a decade of ongoing conflict, Syria faces a multilayered economic crisis that has left millions unemployed. Women-headed households and young adults have been particularly hard hit—and there is immense need for job training to help them to enter the labor market.
IOCC, with support from the IOCC Foundation, and in partnership with the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East’s Department of Ecumenical Relations and Development, has launched a series of life-skills courses, helping 325 women and young adults gain skills that will help them support their families.
Learn more about how these courses—including English language, computer training, finance, and other subjects—are equipping young adults and women to pursue their dreams.
