IOCC Mourns Loss of Life in Connecticut Shooting – Offers Resources

“IOCC joins with all Orthodox Christians and Americans in mourning the senseless loss of lives in yesterday’s shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut,” stated Constantine M. Triantafilou, IOCC Executive Director. “We not only pray for the repose for those whose lives were tragically taken, but also their families and all those impacted by this horrific event.”

IOCC has also activated its Frontline trauma counseling responders and plans to deploy a team in the coming days to the immediately impacted area in Connecticut.
