In cooperation with ACT Alliance partner Norwegian Church Aid, IOCC is providing educational assistance for 50 minority children at a community center in Mount Lebanon. The active learning support includes educational and psychosocial activities for minority kids ages four to ten from refugee and host communities. Through the same project, IOCC has also provided homework tutoring to 75 older minority students (grades seven to nine) with learning difficulties to help them hone skills in English, Arabic, and math. The project supports all these students, no matter their age, overcome challenges to academic success and improve their language skills. It also helps restore hope as they build a better future for themselves.
