IOCC’s US Program welcomed 13 rising high-school seniors from five Orthodox jurisdictions for a week of service and learning in Minneapolis, MN. They completed hands-on service projects with the Salvation Army and Hearts and Hammers, as well as trainings from Agate Housing and Services, Second Harvest Heartland, and US Program staff. Throughout our time together, each young adult developed a new understanding and appreciation for serving others. In the spirit of Christ’s love, they experienced firsthand what it means to minister to those who are in need. Moreover, they learned how to take that newfound knowledge home with them, so they can put it into practice in their daily lives. We’re so thankful for the chance to be part of their journey!
