Caring For Those Who Care

IOCC programs are designed to help as many people as possible by equipping them to improve their lives so they can help others and their community.

Janan (not her real name) is a Jordanian woman who cares for a family member with a disability. Through an IOCC program, she received vocational training to create a small business selling pastries and baked goods from her home, an important step toward increasing her income so she can better meet her family’s needs. Janan also received a small grant through IOCC to purchase new equipment for her kitchen, allowing her to prepare more food and baked goods, which she can sell. Growing her income gives her independence and more resources to be a caregiver.
