The summer months bring with them a spirit of rejuvenation and reconnection with the outdoor world. One current project of IOCC is providing food assistance for families in Greece, a country still reeling after the Greek economic crisis.

This spirit of preparation was the foundation of IOCC’s response to the emergency in Lebanon that saw large parts of Beirut levelled in an instant. It has guided our work in Greece to help families put food on the table as that country’s economic recovery continues. And it has driven our work in Ethiopia to address podoconiosis, a painful and disfiguring disease that attacks bare feet that have long-term contact with volcanic soil.
