Expanded Support to Meet Urgent Needs
For decades, IOCC has served in Ethiopia. As crises continue to mount—including conflict, the pandemic, drought, and a once-in-a-decade locust infestation—IOCC has expanded programming to address urgent food insecurity issues.
A new, multilayered initiative is helping mothers like Jennet care for their children. As she shared, “When I came to this food distribution center, I also received lessons about how to prepare nutritious meals… to keep my kids healthy.”
Learn more about how a combination of diagnosis, treatment, emergency food support, and education has already helped more than 2,600 children under five, pregnant women, and nursing mothers in the Amhara region.
