As communities across the southwestern US face dangerous flooding in the wake of hurricanes and tropical storms, as well as an earthquake in southern California, IOCC is praying for everyone affected.

IOCC is pleased to partner with AmeriCorps NCCC as part of our long-term recovery work following tornadoes in Kentucky.

IOCC’s US Emergency Response Fund helps address both immediate needs and long-term recovery after disasters across the country.

Following destructive, fatal tornadoes across the southern and central US, a team of IOCC Frontliners has deployed to Mississippi to provide emotional and spiritual care to affected communities.

Visiting Florida neighborhoods hit by Hurricane Ian to provide emotional and spiritual care was an early part of IOCC’s response. Later, the US team also helped survivors repair storm damage to their homes.

IOCC began responding to needs in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, almost immediately following Hurricane Ida in 2021.

In the wake of Hurricane Ian, which destroyed homes across Florida, IOCC is responding with emotional and spiritual care plus practical help for those in need.
